I went in hoping for some grand fountain-pen guidance, and to be fair, the staff definitely know their stuff when it comes to pens and inks. I did get some useful advice, which helped. But at times, the answers felt like they vanished into the fog a bit—kind of rushed and not always as clear as I hoped. It wasn’t a disaster by any means, just more of a mixed scene than the helpful epic I was expecting. I’d still use the site again, but I did walk away wishing for a little more detail and patience.

I’ve ordered from Goulet Pens a few times now, mostly when there’s a sale going on. The discounts aren’t always massive, but they’re usually enough to make me feel okay adding an extra ink sample or a small accessory without feeling like I’m taking a big gamble.
I appreciate that the promos are straightforward and don’t come across as gimmicky or confusing. I’m cautious about online orders, especially with fragile pen stuff and ink, but everything I’ve received has been packed well and shipped without any issues.

The only reason I’d hold back from giving 5 stars is that I wish the bigger deals came around more often or stuck around a little longer. Still, it’s a solid shop to keep an eye on if you like pens and want to wait for a safe, decent deal before buying.

Maybe I’d still order if it was something small, like under $20 or $30, but for a bigger purchase, I’d probably think twice now.
